James Dean Hardy,

DTM Missionary Biographical & Ministry Sketch Born and raised in a Christian home of pioneer Deaf missionary parents (Jamaica). He was baptized during a campus revival May 1967 (age 5) at Caribbean Christian Center of the Deaf in Jamaica. He graduated from London Baptist Bible College (Now Heritage Baptist College) in 1987 with Bachelor of Theology (Missions Minor.)

Involving in active Deaf Ministry for 27 years...

  • 1980-1984 - Central Baptist Church in London, ON ... interpreter, visitation worker, adult Deaf Sunday School and Bible study teacher.
  • 1984-2003 - Liberty Baptist Church (now Grace Baptist Church) in Richmond hill, ON as interpreter, Deaf ministry coordinator, cell group leader and Deaf pastor. (1990-2003). Established Grace Deaf Church (non-denominational) in 1997 and have served as deacon, teaching/preaching and assistant pastor (1990-1992).
  • 2003-Present - Founded Deaf TEAM Ministries. Presently member of Quinte Deaf Fellowship (founded February 2007).

He has been happily married to his wonderful wife, Karen for 22 years and has 11 children. They reside in Ontario, Canada.
